01
Every price carries the date we read it
We do not show a price without saying when it was checked. There is no "live price" claim on this site, because we do not have a live feed.
How to check
Open any product card: the line under the button reads "Price at last sync $X · as of November 5, 2026". All 20 products say it.
02
No crossed-out prices without a verified history
A struck-through "was $999" is a claim about the past. We have no verified price archive for any stroller here, so we show none — not one, anywhere.
How to check
Search the site for a struck-through price. There are zero.
03
No promo codes unless a brand issued one
A code needs an issuer and an expiry date. We have neither, so the promo field is empty across the catalogue rather than filled with a fake countdown timer.
How to check
No code appears on any page. The data field exists in the catalogue and is null for all four products.
04
Nothing is described as tested when it was not
We have not pushed, folded, loaded or crash-tested a single stroller. Every card, every review and the methodology page say so in the same words.
How to check
Look for the "Not hands-on tested" badge on each card, and the sentence in every review's Our take block.
05
A missing spec stays missing
When a brand does not publish a number, the field reads "Not published". We do not infer it from a similar model, a forum post or another review site.
How to check
Mockingbird publishes no weight, folded size or capacity. Open its review and count the "Not published" rows — those are the gap, shown as a gap.
06
One identity per product, everywhere
A stroller's name, specs and image alt text are identical in the ranking, the review, the comparison table and the redirect. One data file feeds all of them.
How to check
Open Nuna TRVL in the review, then in the comparison page. The weight, folded size and capacity match to the character.
07
Commission does not decide the ranking
Affiliate payout is one input among several. The clearest proof is the ordering: the cheapest stroller here wins the travel category, and the most expensive wins overall. If payout drove position, that would be reversed.
How to check
Compare the price column with the score column on the ranking page.
08
A recall takes a product off the list the same day
It does not slide down the rankings. A recalled stroller gets removed and its review carries a notice at the top. We check the CPSC feed during the weekly pass.
How to check
See the handling policy on the updates page.
If we break one of these
Tell us which promise, on which page, and we will fix it and log the correction on the updates page. A site that only publishes corrections nobody can see is not correcting anything.
